If you want more background on the RFA Ticker, read the inaugural post.
Does twiddling one’s thumbs (while waiting for RFA’s and/or other ME news from NIH) count as aerobic or endurance exercise?
Both?
The “waiting” is definitely an endurance exercise, as in – an exercise in endurance….
Thanks for keeping an eye on this Jennie.
It is now 2016 and we are still waiting.
Waiting for updates on
the new CFSAC DFO,
when the next CFSAC meeting will be,
when and how to submit nominations for CFSAC members (4 terms expire in the first half of 2016),
waiting for word from NIH about
changes in funding levels for research,
information on what the re-invigorated efforts of the Trans-NIH ME/cfs Working Group are doing for us,
waiting to be “partners in research, not subjects, and will have access to a wide range of study results” (though Collins was referring to the Precision Medicine Initiative, we too should be partners in research),
waiting for operationalization of the criteria proposed in the IOM report,
waiting for release of the PACE Trial data,
waiting……
Not more waiting!
We NEED change! NOW!
